myCAMS–User Guide

Convenience and ease to manage your MF portfolio! myCAMS is a web based application developed by CAMS for investors to create a single login user ID through CAMS website or through Mobile App Version and enable them to transact across all participating Mutual Funds who have authorized CAMS to provide designated services through this application using the single login.

myCAMS is available in two version, i.e., Desktop & Mobile App. Desktop version of myCAMS can be accessed through CAMS website www.camsonline.com. myCAMS mobile app can be downloaded from Google Play store or iTunes app store and install the same. myCAMS is available for free of cost.
myCAMS mobile application is currently compatible in handsets running with android OS (version 4.4 and above) or iOS.

Investors can access their investments across multiple Mutual Funds through a single gateway. Investor shall register for myCAMS with the registered email in the folio(s) as User ID. Investor must ensure same email ID has been registered in all the folios held by him/her in the participating mutual funds serviced by CAMS. Single registration is sufficient either in myCAMS mobile app or myCAMS online. Users can use the same login credentials for both.

Registration steps in myCAMS desktop are given below

  • Visit www.camsonline.com --> Investor Services --> myCAMS desktop
  • Click on ‘New User Registration’ to create new user.
  • In the ‘New User Registration screen’, enter the registered email id and captcha. Click on Submit
  • On completion of the registration process, an alert confirming the same is displayed on the screen
  • New User Registration confirmation mail sent to user registered email id, along with the login credentials
  • This user id and password can be used for initial login in myCAMS ‘User Login’ screen
  • The 1st time myCAMS user login navigates to the ‘Change Password’ screen, allowing users to set their desired password as per the password logic displayed in the screen.
  • User may now re-login to myCAMS with the user id as the registered email id and the new set password.

Registration steps in myCAMS mobile app are given below

  • Download myCAMS mobile app from Google Play store or iTunes app store and install the same.
  • Click on Register option.
  • Enter your registered email id and mobile number in the ‘New Registration screen’ and proceed for OTP authentication.
  • Post OTP authentication, set the password as per the logic displayed in the screen
  • User may now re-login to myCAMS with the user id as the registered email id and the new set password
Two Factor Authentication Questions

As per the requirements of SEBI Cyber Security and Cyber Resilience Framework, 2FA at log-in is required to be implemented for all users who connect using online/internet facility. 2FA is a security process in which the user provides two means of identification from separate categories of credentials for increased security and to protect against cyber threats and security attacks.
myCAMS has implemented 2FA utility to comply with SEBI guidelines. Investor has to set any 5 questions & answers which will be used for user authentication. Any 1 question will be asked on future logins through Camsonline website.

All your MF investments in participating Mutual Funds are automatically mapped to the portfolio, provided you have the same email id registered across all your folios. If in case any of your folios are missing in myCAMS login, please ensure that your email id is updated in the respective folios.

  • Investor can use GoGreen and CAMServ Chat features available in www.camsonline.com to update your email id across CAMS serviced Funds folios where you are the Unit Holder
  • You may also use PAN based service request form to update your contact details for funds serviced by CAMS. Investor may submit or courier the original physical copy of the duly filled and signed PAN based request form at the nearest CAMS Service Center. The request will be verified and processed within 7 business days. Folios get mapped to myCAMS portfolio once email is updated

Folios applicable for myCAMS Financial Transactions

  • Tax Status: Resident Indian Individuals, HUF, Minor (except for New Folio creation)
  • KYC complied and status updated (except for redemption)
  • Mode of Holding: Single, Anyone or Survivor, Either or Survivor, Both or Survivor
  • Valid Indian network mobile number to receive OTP during Financial Transactions

Pre-Login/First Time Investor to CAMS Serviced Funds

Steps involved in New Folio creation

  • Click on Register & Transact
  • Enter your Email ID
  • Enter your PAN, DOB
  • Select Mutual Funds, Gender, Tax Status, Mode of Holding, Mode of Payment & Bank details (For online fund transfer: banks with TPV option through the payment gateway option is only allowed)
  • PAN will be verified against the KRA database. If PAN is not KYC complaint, investor is requested to complete KYC using KYC application form and submit at the nearest CAMS service center. KYC compliant investor can proceed to transact.
  • Complete OTP authentication. OTP will be sent to investor registered mobile number in KRA records.
  • Enter Nominee details
  • Select Scheme Name & Scheme options
  • Enter Investment Amount
  • Capture proof of documents for Bank Mandate (original cancelled cheque leaf with investor name preprinted and signature) and submit
  • Will be directed to the respective netbanking site
  • Upon log-in to bank account, it will go directly to banking payment menu & submit the request for fund transfer
  • Successful transaction will reach RTA for further processing
  • Post completion of transaction, confirmation along with reference number will be displayed on the screen; SMS & Email communication will be sent. Quote this reference number for any queries
  • Click on Invest New icon
  • Enter your PAN, DOB
  • Select Mutual Funds, Gender, Tax Status, Mode of Holding, Mode of Payment & Bank details (For online fund transfer: banks with TPV option through the payment gateway option is only allowed)
  • KYC status will be checked. If PAN is not KYC complaint, investor is requested to complete KYC using KYC application form and submit at the nearest CAMS service center. If PAN is a KYC compliant will be able to proceed further.
  • Enter Nominee details
  • Select Scheme Name & scheme option
  • Enter Investment Amount
  • Capture proof of documents for Bank Mandate (original cancelled cheque leaf with investor name preprinted and signature) and submit
  • Will be directed to the respective Net Banking site

Notes:

  • Investor has to complete the transaction within the prescribed timelines [20 minutes] and thereafter it will be time-out and investor has to initiate the transaction from the beginning
  • There is possibility that connectivity may fail post debit of investor account and final confirmation reaching the investor due to transaction will not get through
  • NAV applicability will be based on transaction submission time [CAMS Server time will be considered] and funds realization date/status

Steps involved in Invest More (Additional Purchase)

  • Investor will log-in into the myCAMS through valid user-id and password
  • Investor will log-in into the myCAMS through valid user-id and password
  • Applicable folios will be displayed upon selection of fund name
  • Investor needs to select the folio in which he/she wish to transact for placing Additional Purchase
  • For investments in Direct plans, Distributor code will be Direct only
  • For Investments in Regular plans, Distributor code, sub broker code and EUIN details need to be entered
  • Once the folio is selected and investor has to input scheme category, scheme, IDCW option, investment amount and choose payment type and bank name
  • Investor can opt for anyone of the two mode of payments facilitated
  • a. Online fund transfer - Only registered banks in the folio through Net Banking payment. Upon selection of appropriate option, investor will be directed to the respective banks log-in page and upon log-in to bank account, it will go directly to banking payment menu and submit the request for fund transfer
    b. Common OTM – OTM registered for the PAN for the participating funds. Upon selection of Common OTM, investor has to choose the required mandate from the list of registered OTM. Transaction will be submitted post authentication by means of OTP to the mobile number registered in the folio
  • The successful orders will reach RTA for further processing
  • Post completion of transaction, confirmation will be displayed on the screen and reference number will be populated – which investor may kindly note and quote the same for any queries

Notes:

Steps involved in Switch

  • Applicable folios will be displayed upon selection of fund name
  • Investor needs to select the folio in which he/she wishes to transact for placing the switch order
  • Switch will be allowed only in open ended schemes – both source scheme and target scheme
  • Once the folio is selected and investor need to select source scheme, target scheme, amount or units
  • If the target scheme is Direct plan, Distributor code will be Direct
  • If the target scheme is Regular plan, option to key-in the Distributor code, sub broker code and EUIN will be facilitated
  • Post completion of transaction, confirmation will be displayed on the screen and reference number will be populated – which investor may kindly note and quote the same for any queries
  • All other validations as currently available for online transactions will also be applied

  • NAV applicability will be based on transaction submission time [CAMS Server time will be considered] and funds realization date/status

Steps involved in Redeem

  • Investor will log-in into myCAMS through valid user-id and password
  • Applicable folios will be displayed upon selection of fund name
  • Investor needs to select the folio in which he/she wishes to transact for placing the redemption order
  • Redemption will be allowed only for valid folios having unit balance
  • Only default bank mandate will be displayed for redemption payout
  • Once the folio is selected, investor has to select scheme, units/amount to be redeemed, agreeing to the terms and conditions and click ‘Generate OTP’
  • OTP will be generated and sent to investor’s registered mobile number
  • The mobile number registered in the respective folio(s) will be considered as registered Mobile Number
  • The OTP will expire in 10 minutes from the time sent to the registered mobile number
  • Investor has to enter the OTP in the screen for necessary authentication
  • Post completion of transaction, confirmation will be displayed on the screen and reference number will be populated – which investor may kindly note and quote the same for any queries
  • Redemption will not be allowed if mobile number has not been registered in the folio
  • myCAMS has introduced monthly limit of Rs.10 lakhs for redemptions. Limit is set for the cumulative redemption amount done across PANs linked under the email id.

Steps involved in digiSIP:

  • Click on digiSIP icon
  • Select PAN & Mutual Fund (Existing/New Mutual fund)
  • Existing Fund: Select any of your existing folio or click on new folio to create new folio
  • Click on Initiate SIP – Select Scheme, IDCW option, Investment frequency, No. of instalments, SIP date, SIP start date, SIP end date
  • Enter Investment Amount
  • Select Mode of payment, Bank name, Mobile number and submit
  • OTP will be sent to investor registered mobile number in the folio. Complete OTP authentication. Transaction will be initiated successfully. SRN (Systematic Registration Number) is generated and displayed on screen, SMS & Email communication will be sent.
  • Click on “Register Now” to login your net banking account immediately, visit the Bill pay section, register the AMC name as Biller and enter the SRN within 24 hours to activate your SIP

Steps involved in STP

  • Investor will log-in into the myCAMS through valid user-id and password
  • Applicable folios will be displayed upon selection of fund name
  • STP will be allowed only in open ended schemes and schemes only with systematic transactions enabled.
  • Required data fields for STP registration to be provided by investor;
  • 1. MF, Folio and Source Scheme selection
    2. Target Scheme details
    3. IDCW Option
    4. Transfer Frequency
    5. Transfer Date
    6. Transfer Start Date, End Date
    7. No. of Transfers
    8. Transfer Amount
    9. Mobile No.
    10. Broker details to be captured if Target scheme is selected as Regular plan
  • Post completion of transaction, confirmation will be displayed on the screen and reference number will be populated – which investor may kindly note and quote the same for any queries
  • STP Registration acknowledgement is sent to the email id/Mobile number registered in folio
  • All other validations as currently available for online transactions will also be applied

Steps involved in SWP

  • Investor will log-in into the myCAMS through valid user-id and password
  • Applicable folios will be displayed upon selection of fund name
  • SWP will be allowed only in open ended schemes and schemes only with systematic transactions enabled.
  • Required data fields for SWP registration to be provided by investor
  • 1. MF, Folio and Scheme selection
    2. Payout Bank
    3. Withdrawal Type: Fixed Amount
    4. Withdrawal frequency (Daily, weekly, fortnightly, monthly)
    5. SWP Day (Date)
    6. SWP Period: Start Date and End Date
    7. No. of withdrawals
    8. Withdrawal amount
    9. Mobile No.
  • Post completion of transaction, confirmation will be displayed on the screen and reference number will be populated – which investor may kindly note and quote the same for any queries
  • SWP Registration acknowledgement is sent to the email id/Mobile number registered in folio
  • All other validations as currently available for online transactions will also be applied

You can now schedule your future transactions in Mutual funds by clicking “Schedule Transaction Menu” available under menu list (or) “Schedule Transaction” button available under Invest more, Redeem and Switch Transaction screens.

1. Invest more:
  • Fill the required fields and submit the transaction
  • Post submission of transaction, on screen confirmation pop, confirmation mail and SMS will be sent
  • Alert/Reminder via SMS/Email will be sent on schedule date with specific instructions to confirm the transaction for processing
  • Post successful confirmation/payment, the transaction will be processed as per applicable NAV
  • This scheduled transaction will be submitted only if confirmation is initiated before the cut-off time on scheduled date

Note: NAV applicability will be based on transaction submission time [CAMS Server time will be considered] and funds realization date/status

2. Switch
  • Fill the required fields and submit the transaction
  • Post submission of transaction, on screen confirmation pop, confirmation mail and SMS will be sent
  • Alert/Reminder via SMS/Email will be sent on schedule date with specific instructions to confirm the transaction for processing
  • Post successful confirmation/payment, the transaction will be processed as per applicable NAV
  • This scheduled transaction

3. Redemption
  • Fill the required fields and submit the transaction
  • Post submission of transaction, on screen confirmation pop, confirmation mail and SMS will be sent
  • Alert/Reminder via SMS/Email will be sent on schedule date with specific instructions to confirm the transaction for processing
  • Post successful confirmation/payment, the transaction will be processed as per applicable NAV
  • This scheduled transaction will be submitted only if confirmation is initiated before the cut-off time on scheduled date

All the scheduled future transactions will be listed under ‘View Pre-scheduled transactions’ with option to Pay now/Cancel the same.

  • Redemption guide helps to make an informed selection of the investment which has the most economical exit implication
  • This guide is only for suggestion purpose and you are free to redeem from the funds as you may desire
  • Redemption guide will indicate probable exit load applicability, possible tax liability after applying exit load and returns as on date for the indicated redemption amount on a best effort basis
  • Redemption guide is applicable for Resident Individual and HUF investors only
  • Highest tax bracket % has been considered for tax calculation purpose. The tax applicable for the investor will vary based on his/her income computation. No deduction towards tax will be done from the redemption proceeds
  • Displayed information is only for the amount indicated by you for the given PAN
  • Only eligible scheme(s) where redemption is possible are displayed
  • Close ended & ETF schemes and Units under Hold (ELSS, Lien, etc.) will not get displayed
  • You can select multiple scheme/Fund from the list to meet the indicative redemption amount
  • Please consult your tax & investment advisors wherever applicable. Kindly note that actual figures (exit load, tax, returns) may vary depending upon various factors associated with such transactions
  • CAMS/participating Funds will not be liable for any claims in this regard

  • In case you have multiple mobile numbers registered across your folios, please use the regular redemption feature.

You can transact in the ongoing NFOs in different Mutual Funds registered under CAMS

  • NFO is the first time subscription offer for a new scheme launched by the mutual fund companies.
  • You can now purchase NFO schemes directly from the myCAMS app.
  • Please select the respective mutual fund, scheme Details and proceed with transaction

PAN based Mandate can be used for any number of SIPs across all funds serviced by CAMS. Investor can able to track the mandate status submitted physically at CAMS service center.

  • Save your favourite transactions, so you won’t have to conduct a search for your preferred scheme every time you want to invest in it
  • Once saved, just view the preferred in myFavourites on the main menu and alter the transaction amount as desired
  • Monitoring your investments got even easier
  • Add the schemes you want to track to ‘myWatchList’
  • View current NAV, Returns, Loads/Fees and their performance from the main menu every time you login

myCAMS facilitates various options for investors to have track of both financial and non-financial transactions.

a. Recent Transactions:
  • You can view the status of recent Financial Transactions, Service Requests and Pending Transactions both for ‘All Funds’ & ‘Mutual Fund-wise’
  • Under ‘All Funds’, recent 15 transactions across Mutual Funds can be viewed
  • Under ‘Mutual Fund-wise’, transactions done in last 3 transacted days can be viewed
b. Systematic Transaction:
  • All the systematic transactions (SIP, STP, SWP) in investor’s existing folios are listed here
  • The transactions listing are categorized as Current, Completed, Ceased, Next Installment and Last Executed.
  • This enquiry screen provides details like AMC, Folio no, Investor name, Scheme name, From Date, To Date, Frequency, Date of systematic transaction, Instalment Amount, No. of Instalments, Total Amount, Transaction Reference no., Bank name, etc.
SIP/STP/SWP Cancellation:
  • In the Current Systematic Transaction details, investor is facilitated option to cancel the respective SIP/STP/SWP
  • When investor opts to ‘Cancel’ the systematic transaction, same will be processed with successful OTP authentication
  • The cancellation option is provided only for the SIP/STP/SWP registered through Online
  • On completion of this process, confirmation email and SMS will be sent to investor

Transaction Summary
  • Investor can view AMC-wise purchase, redemption & switch transaction details like Folio No., Date of transaction, Scheme code/Name, transaction description, units, amount, etc.
  • Filter search option based on PAN, Folio No and Date is provided for investor convenience
